This week we held our very first Vocational Pathways Graduation Ceremony. Parents and many of our staff gathered in the staffroom along with representatives from our business and industry partners to celebrate the success of eighteen of our students on completing their vocational pathway programme.

Each student was presented with a graduation certificate and lei. Citations were read by their Head of House and our Director of Student Pathways Michele Zackey-Meek, who has overseen their programmes, explained what they involved and where each student was heading onto in 2021. It was wonderful to learn about the exciting futures these graduates have ahead of them.

As a school, we feel honoured to be working in partnership with these businesses and industries to be able to offer such outstanding opportunities to our Selwyn students: Techtorium, Yobee, NZMA – Allied Health and Allied Trades, Crown Institute of Studies, Service IQ, EIS, Calder and Stewart, Safety ‘n Action, Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Tamaki Job and Skills Hub, Remarkable Roofing, and the NZ Police. We also thank the Ministry of Education for their support.
