Itinerant Music Lessons

Learn a musical instrument through the Selwyn Itinerant music program by having lessons on your chosen instrument and being part of a music group.

Playing an instrument has long been shown to assist students’ learning in general.

Learning a musical instrument builds confidence and self esteem.  It develops performance abilities, listening skills, co-ordination, teamwork, social awareness and its fun!  Students involved in the Itinerant Programme are expected to be part of a Co-Curricular Music Group once they are at a suitable level.
