Last year, one of our Year 11 and several of our Year 12 students chose to sit the most challenging examinations in the country – the New Zealand Scholarship Examinations. This exam does not count for NCEA but rather, it is recognises and financially awards the top 3 percent of students in the country. This makes the achievement of our Year 11 and 12 students very rare and exceptional. Jimmy Kemble was recognised as one of the very elite History students in the country by achieving an ‘Outstanding Scholarship in History’. Congratulations Jimmy!
