At Level One students develop skills and knowledge of safe practices in a wood workshop. They produce three outcomes which introduce them to basic hand tools, machinery and processors, linked to the theoretical paperwork supplied by BCITO.
At Level Two students further develop their skills with two more complex projects, using a wider rage of power tools and machinery. At level two students can also choose to participate in the NZMA programme which allows them to have a taste of a range of possible trade opportunities.
