Selwyn College is very proud of our cricket facilities, with our own grass wicket and nets, and access to world class cricket nets at the University Cricket Club in Colin Maiden Park.
Selwyn College cricket has a very successful programme in place and this is reflected in the success it has had over the last few years.
The Selwyn College 1st XI Boys team plays in the Auckland Premier 1A competition after securing promotion in 2018. Our Junior Colts Team plays in the Colts 2 after winning the Junior Open in 2021.
Opportunities are also offered for other junior boys playing in the Saturday morning T20 competition. If we have the numbers we will also have a 2XI Boys that will play in the morning T20 competition.
Selwyn College began a girls cricket programme in 2021 which will grow again in 2022.

1st X1 Boys team train Tuesday & Thursday at Colin Maiden 3.30pm – 5.00pm
Training times for other teams will be worked out pending student and coach availability.
FEES
1st XI Boys – $150 for the season
MATCH DETAILS
UNIFORM
1st XI Boys play Saturdays beginning at 10.30am with games at home and away venues across Auckland.
The 1st XI Boys’ , Junior Colts and the Girls’ team uniforms are provided by the school.
HELP NEEDED
Saturday teams need to make their own way to games, so transport is required (carpooling preferred). Help is also needed each week with scoring and umpiring.
