Lacrosse
Selwyn introduced the sport of Lacrosse in 2017 and we have had fantastic success in our first three years of competing. We ended up winning C grade and then winning B grade in 2019. We competed successfully in A grade in the 2020 and the 2021 competition. We now have enough girls to run two highly competitive teams in the Auckland competition. It is a sport we are hoping to grow and develop even further in 2022 and we’re actively looking for management and support to help us.

2022 INFORMATION
TEAMS
We will have at least two teams and will enter both the A and B grades in 2022
TRAINING
Training days and times will be confirmed after Registration, But generally for our Premier team we train twice a week and once a week for our development team.
FEES
$70
MATCH DETAILS
Thursday’s after school – home and away matches.
UNIFORM
Participants will need black skorts and will be provided with a playing top. Selwyn College has an amount of quality Lacrosse sticks and goggles to be used for the season.
HELP NEEDED
We need assistance to grow Lacrosse at school – coaches, managers, umpires and help with transport.
