Swimming
The Inter-School swimming competition is focused around the Central Eastern Zone Swimming Championships which are held in Term 1, with qualifiers moving on to the Champion of Champions event. Selwyn College enters a team of swimmers each year to the zone event and this trip is managed and staffed by the Sport Department.
The school can also facilitate entry to the Auckland Individual Championships (usually held in August) and the New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships (usually held in September).

SWIMMING CLUB
Swim Coach / Teacher Mr Fletcher also takes a swimming group to a weekly swimming session in Terms 1 and 4 at SwimTastic Pool on a Thursday morning at 7am before school. The school Van then picks the students up and brings them to school

FEES
Swimming Club – $4 per session for entry to the pool

HELP NEEDED
Parent assistance is vital as we are required to provide timekeepers and helpers at the Central Eastern Zone event.
