Ultimate Frisbee
Selwyn College offers Ultimate Frisbee throughout the school year. Term 1 focuses on outdoor ultimate while terms 2 and 3 is run indoors. In term 4 the focus is on the junior players (year 9 and 10).
The Ultimate Frisbee club has a weekly club session where all players are welcome to come along and play in a fun and supportive environment. Give it a go – you don’t need to have played ultimate, or even have thrown a disc, before .
For those interested in representing the school, we enter teams into the College Sport Auckland leagues in Term 1 and the AKSS Championship tournaments in Terms, 1, 2 and 4. In 2022 Selwyn College is looking to enter the NZSS National touranment for the first time.
We have had a number of regional and national representatives who have started Ultimate at school and gone on to great things. Our resident coach – Sports Coordinator Iain Stewart – will get you up to speed.
